Welcome to Hyperbole Heights, where tall tales come to life and exaggeration isn't just encouraged, it's insisted upon! Jamie and Jordan are showing the new exchange student, Oolie, around their school. She will meet a principal with blue hair, an ancient janitor with a meatball stuck in his beard and a science class that can take a staircase to Mars. The only thing weirder and scarier is Taco Day in the school cafeteria. This is a fast paced play perfect for student performers (with plenty of fun speaking roles) and audiences!

It’s no exaggeration to say Hyperbole Heights is a pure delight! Imagine the Marx Brothers, the Three Stooges, and Rocky & Bullwinkle all going to the same elementary school. That’s how zany and fun this play is! Jacquie Floyd does it again!

    Weird, wacky and totally wonderful!
Perfect for any producer looking for a fun, family-friendly one-act.

Stupendous. The stream of nonsense logic upon which this play runs is like a shot of pure energy and giddiness. Nestled within all the winning gags is this kind of dreamy optimism, the kind that asks, after all, why shouldn't a staircase be able to go to Mars, or any other of wildly impossible things happen? One never knows when the next Taco Day lurks around the corner, so best to have the most fun whenever possible, and this play is an excellent supply.
