A tribute to Alice Hamilton, a pioneer in the study of industrial toxicology aka badass lady chemist. In 10 short pages, we meet Alice in early 1900s Leadville, CO as she researching toxins in coal dust, follow her to 1960s Chicago and a struggle against illegal toxic dumping, then finish up with her in present-day Flint Michigan, joining the fight for clean water.
This play can be performed by four actors: a Black female and male actors and a white female and male actors. The Black male actor should play the guitar and sing.
