A cisgender mustachioed "man's man." Mara Lynn's husband. Caro and Sammy's dad.

CAROLINA EVE "CARO" HARRISON, 20s, she/her
A cisgender woman. A young person who has grown up trying to translate across generational divides and lenses. Child of Mara Lynn and Mule. There are approximately four years between Mara and Sammy, Mara being the older. "Caro," short for Carolina, "care-oh".

SAMAR WELTY "SAMMY" HARRISON, 20s, she/her
A transgender woman. A young person who has grown up with a lifetime of familiarity with grief and silence. Child of Mara Lynn and Mule. If Mule is III, Sammy is ostensibly "IV." There are approximately four years between Caro and Sammy, Sammy being the younger.
