"Send in the Clown" takes audiences back to the nostalgia of 1960, when "The Bobo The Clown Show" was the beloved children's program. However, with declining viewership, the show's producers face the challenge of securing a bigger sponsor, leading to compromises that threaten the show's creative integrity. As the pressure to attract a younger audience mounts, the new sponsor, "Cue Toothpaste," insists on introducing a young sidekick to "Bobo The Clown" to promote their toothpaste brand.
