    “ This play has TEETH and STAKES! It's so tense and the turn of finding out that Lely is Jenna's teacher was like a blow to the gut. This is a tight one act play that's fun to read and great for an all female play fest! I was really blown away by Lynett's subtext rich writing! This is a great piece!     “ What a twisty-turny one-act! I loved the discoveries planted along the way, especially since they never felt unearned, but consistently surprised me. Lynett takes such care with both characters too, they’re so intriguing and layered, and completely sucked me into their lives. They also both had a stagnancy that I found compelling and so relatable too. How does anyone ask for what you want? The play also touches on privledge and expectations in a really interesting way. PICK ME UP left me wanting more from this little world, I cannot wait to dive into more work by this playwright! ”
