This piece is just lovely! It has everything — Warmth, humor, a delightful inquiry — Right from the get-go, Ramsburg sets us up really wondering what Martin and Mamie are getting into here. We love them from the start and watch as they grow and develop in just a few short pages. This is the kind of 10-minute play that gets the reader's attention, with clear, crisp back and forth, and a deeply satisfying beginning, middle and *perfect* ending. We don't have enough plays for mature actors, and this one is a GEM.

This is such a sweet piece for two mature actors with comedic timing. I LOVE that Mamie is reminding her husband what a catch she still is while communicating that she wants passion. I also love that they are so opposite from each other but obviously care for each other. This is adorable and fun!

There are universally timeless conversations that could be spoken by couples of any age but have more and more impact as time goes on. Kat Ramsburg captures nostalgia, the big questions of sustained attraction through the decades, and even some of the comedic vein in the arc of what could be the stuff of a serious drama. A fantastic piece for seniors, most especially the role of Mamie in this delightful two-hander that exposes a very tender and real emotional response to the situation of MAMIE & MARTIN GO TO BED.
