SYNOPSIS: Suggested by The TEMPEST by William Shakespeare, this TEMPEST finds itself in a post-apocalyptic world, where survivalist father, Pero, captures two Atrian strangers he will groom to give as gifts to two of his three children, his pups, Miranda, Ariel & Cal. Will the Atrian strangers civilize his children or compound their savagery? “Oh, brave new world” that has the other in’t.
Touching on themes of parenting, maternal death in childbirth, a shrinking pool of human existence, slavery, LGBTQ issues, the wizardry of love, and survival itself, TEMPEST centers on the idea of free will as central to the very idea of being human. Will any or all our characters discover that, brave new world, that has the other in’t….
