When a straight man interrupts Bone's waiting to hit on them, Bone serves his ass back to him on a silver platter. THREE SCORPIONS WALK INTO A BAR rips apart the patriarchy and spits in its face, demanding an answer as to why straight people feel so entitled to infiltrate and take gay spaces away from its inhabitants. Through these rough exteriors, hardened facades, and explorations of lesbianism, we discover we are all just scorpions: glowing in the dark not because of anything innate, but emitting light because of the rays beamed onto us from others.

A fascinating one-act about human nature.

A fascinating one-act about human nature.

BONE- 30s; they/them; steel dagger; butch; whiskey, a single ice cube; every time Bone is silent, there is a monologue going off the rails inside their brain; demeanor is that of Shane from the L word most of the time

MAN- 30s; he/him; bag of fleas; coors light, piss water– it’s all the same

BARTENDER- 30s; they/she; tends to the bar; sober

HER- late 20s; she/her, a softer butch; loves cider, but from england, and she’ll make sure to tell you that distinction every time She gets to

*Bartender and Her can be played by the same actor
