Casey Ohver watches from a distance as Schilling basks in her glory, all the while harboring a secret that could unravel everything. Ohver claims that she was sexually abused by Schilling’s assistant coach for years and decides to go public with the help of cub reporter Jamie Warheld. I was lucky to read part of an earlier draft of this play, and it's so cool to see how Sean has developed it, adding intriguing moral and ethical wrinkles to what could've been a more black-and-white story. The bracingly cynical ending makes us question what's more important: the truth, or how history perceives it?
