A tight group of 9 high school seniors pushes back when one of them (Meagan), starts thinking aloud about deep topics like life and her faith. Then one night, their car accidentally hits a classmate, Cliff, and Meagan decides (after a group argument) to visit him at the hospital. A friendship develops that helps her faith journey, but puts further strains on the group. Feelings and relationships are exposed during the group’s discussions, that cover current teen situations and concerns. The dialog is aided by the lyrics of 10 original songs in a variety of styles that complement events, leading to an uplifting finish. There is Christian messaging, but Finding is, first and foremost, a contemporary teen musical that will be fun for the teen cast, and that all ages will enjoy.
