With age, comes wisdom in its simplest form (the title pretty much nails it). Expert advice from high-priced gurus, fancy lotions, herbal teas, and expensive footwear won’t necessarily ensure you make it to the finish line. A long-distance run, like daily life, is about taking it one step at a time. Audience members of all ages will enjoy ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER by Paul Smith.

I had the happy experience of listening to ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER today on the podcast Theatrical Shenanigans out of England. This short play is a delightful two hander between an older woman and a young, nervous runner. Great dialogue and a terrific twist at the end.

We had the great privilege of producing this place for the audio play podcast Theatrical Shenanigans and it was a delightful piece to produce. Nathan and Elise find themselves on the coach for London heading for the London marathon for different reasons, or are they? Its an enchanting piece with wonderful dialogue that flows back and forth but at its heart it shows how much one person can have an impact on your life when they remind you its about 'putting one foot in front of the other'. A wonderfully written piece that works for both audio and stage.
