Transgender Quebecois Anglophone high school student Izaak is attempting to come to grips with his intersectional identity when his great aunt demands he write a play about her recently-deceased brother. However upon investigation of his grandfather's diary Izaak discovers a hidden family secret that will force everyone to reexamine who they are in a modern Jewish family that missed out on all the major events of the 20th century.
