Really a two-hander, but the monsters could potentially be represented by an ensemble of dancers, puppeteers or other movement-based performers, so I'm opening up the potential cast size for that reason (in which case, if the ensemble is more than 10 beings, that is fine too). See note:

The monsters could be shown in a variety of ways: giant Jim Henson's Creature Shop or War Horse-style puppets, projected animations or shadow puppets combined with physical representation, an ensemble of masked dancers moving as one -- let your imaginations fly.
