A play about the bonds we form in college and also how cruel young women can be to each other. I was fascinated by how the mood abruptly shifts when Jake enters from one of lightness and fun to one of competition and cruelty. I loved how unique each of the female characters are. They are complicated and messy and just trying to survive the hook up culture that seems to be a rite of passage for college students. This would be a fun piece for a short play festival.

This play is a JOY to see and to work on. It is rife with comedic moments, amped-up passion for each actor, and loads of subtext. The comedy is never at the expense of deeper messages and questions about how women treat each other and themselves. A perfect play for short play festivals and the collegiate stage.
