Absolutely terrific play. Jessi does so much with both of these characters in such a short span of time - it's timely, moving, funny, beautifully written and optimistic all in just a few pages. Can't recommend enough.

Love Jessi Pitts' ability to hold a moment of time in her hands and dress its wounds, welcome you in, and make you laugh, sometimes in a single blow. "Bitch, that's a nickel" made me bark out a laugh. I think Pitts can capture the human condition in a way that makes me want to picket outside of every playwrights festival, chanting, "Read her, stage her, pay her now! Pick Jessi Pitts! I don't care how!"

Absolutely worthy of all of its accolades. The sibling dynamic is captured and used uniquely in this short play. Now that I think about it Pitts is exceptionally skilled at writing sisters (check out some of her other work to see what I mean). Do yourself a favor and take a few minutes out of your day to read this touching and honest script.
