Absolutely terrific play. Jessi does so much with both of these characters in such a short span of time - it's timely, moving, funny, beautifully written and optimistic all in just a few pages. Can't recommend enough.

Love Jessi Pitts' ability to hold a moment of time in her hands and dress its wounds, welcome you in, and make you laugh, sometimes in a single blow. "Bitch, that's a nickel" made me bark out a laugh. I think Pitts can capture the human condition in a way that makes me want to picket outside of every playwrights festival, chanting, "Read her, stage her, pay her now! Pick Jessi Pitts! I don't care how!"

Heartwarming and heartwrenching at the same time. Pitts established an entire family dynamic in 10 minutes and was able to give us a broad view of who these sisters are.
