I saw this play at ACT in 2022 and absolutely loved it. The ways in which the two couples lives intersect and collide are exquisitely portrayed. The script touches upon a myriad of socio-political issues -- the U.S. military industrial complex, intersectionality, and inter-racial relationships, to name a few -- without ever veering toward didactic or preachy language. Bonus, I learned a lot about modern Egypt!

A great play about complex relationships and desires. I appreciated getting to see the different viewpoints of Egypt and discovering what is needed to build a life.

A smart and insightful piece about eastern and western relationships with a beautiful unifying desire that is truly what we are all searching for. Excellent work.
