[FULL-LENGTH] Four people gather around a kitchen table, which promptly breaks in front of their eyes. One by one, they take turns telling stories, each stepping into their vignette as an omniscient narrator: A man tentatively starts over after his divorce. A woman tries to show her sick granddaughter that life is still worth living. A repair man visits the home of a grieving young woman. Two parents attempt to heal their volatile son. A dinner party uncovers a blistering betrayal. Intercut with poetic, lyrical interludes, the stories intertwine as the group tries to put their kitchen table—the heartbeat of their homes—back together again.

This is a beautiful, poetic, delicate rendering of life, a carefully constructed play that I love. I saw this play at NYC Fringe and think it's a perfect addition to any season.
