Notes: This play uses some gender-flexible casting. All characters should be visibly and/or emotionally queer.
FREIDA: Female, free-spirit, age 30-50, gay-married to Hildie, longtime bestie to SAM.
SAM: Any gender—but girlfriendy, similar age to FREIDA, feminist gynecologist, longtime bestie to FREIDA, gay married to CASEY.
CASEY: Same or similar gender as SAM, any adult age, gay-married to SAM. (CASEY’s pronouns, in bold on page 2, can be altered to suit actor.)
