I saw a reading of this play last summer and it still sticks in my mind. This play takes on sexual assault and power imbalances in a character-focused, highly atmospheric way. In the Fall chooses to lean into the complexity of these issues while always staying true to the people who are caught within them.

Lauren has developed a truly intricate spider web of a play where friends only get small slivers of the truth and keeps the audience on edge. She has a great voice for each character and wonderfully honest moments when the whole thing unravels.
