Seven months pregnant, Abbie shouldn’t have been driving. Her belly pushed up against the steering wheel every time she came to a stop. And then she was in an accident. She suffered cuts, bruises and a broken arm. The baby inside of her, however, was deprived of oxygen and suffered irreversible brain damage. They would not have a normal child.
