Great roles for women in their thirties! Great opportunities for stage combat! A funny and scary romp about friendship and inner demons that would be a blast to put on stage.

Three dissatisfied women on the cusp of middle-age, alone in an isolated cabin in the northern Minnesota woods... what could possibly go wrong? Read this horrifyingly funny work from Heather Meyers to find out. There are plenty of edge-of-your seat moments of terror mixed with plenty of gasp-inducing belly laughs; think the distaff version of "Ghostbusters," but really, really GOOD! A howler, in all respects.

Horror Comedy is one of the toughest balances to strike that’s out there. Lean too far in either direction and the entire piece suffers. Not only does Meyer nail it, but she’s kind enough to offer us a free masterclass in the process. With loads of organic (and occasionally corny in the best way) dialogue, this script is chock-full of frights and laughs in equal measure, and 100% made up of fun, funny, furious roles for women to show off their physical comedy and stage combat prowess. Plenty of room for designers to go crazy here, too. Produce this!
