The local news is predicting doomsday, and it’s time to say goodbye: to each other, to the place where they spent their childhood summers, and to the creatures of legend that may (or may not) be lurking in the waters all around them.

I really enjoyed seeing this play at the NYC Fringe in 2016. I found its exploration of long-time friendship and romantic attraction to be very moving. The incorporation of magical realism into the piece made it stand apart from the typical coming-of-age story. I too hope that this piece will have a continued life beyond its Fringe production.

I love this play! I saw this produced at NYC Fringe and hope that it has a life outside of it - full of magic, mythology and storytelling, this play weaves through time and space and invites us into the complexities of friendship and the end of the world.
