Untitled Baby Play tells the story of six women who find themselves trapped on an email chain to plan their mutual friend's baby shower. In what starts out as a comedy of manners for the digital age, but deepens to something weightier, these women -- a doctor, freelance journalist, consultant, teacher, actress and software engineer -- must contend with cyber miscommunications and email chain snubs even while facing their own convictions, fears, and existential angst surrounding the baby question. And when the baby shower finally hits, neuroses reach full throttle. Untitled Baby Play is a meditation on private identity, the crafting of persona, and the agony of life choices. But most importantly, it is an ode to female friendship.
