When she and her partner encounter a bear blocking their return path they turn to the wisdom of YouTube celebrity park ranger, Ranger Phil, who has his own surreal opinions on bears and relationships.

    “ Does a bear sit in the woods? Yes, it does! And that simple ursine action is the impetus here for a humorous conversation between main characters, Amy and Fiona. This script takes some really unexpected twists and turns. Overall, I found it to be beary entertaining stuff! ”

The theme of growing up and becoming self-reliant (as well as reliable for others) unfolds beautifully and pairs well with the existential surrealism (Ranger Phil being a stand-in - perhaps - for the fear of what’s “out there” - and wow, he is SUCH a delight!). A piece that more than delivers on the cleverness and creativity of its title! ”
