Someone in this crime-ridden town is kidnapping authors. Luckily, Detectives Kurt Moreland and Margaret Halifax of the Literary Crimes Division are on the case. But when things get personal for Moreland, Chief O'Malley takes the partners off the case just as the trail's starting to heat up. With their careers and their favorite books on the line, Moreland and Halifax must overcome dyslexia, the Dewey Decimal System, and a sinister conspiracy in order to rescue the missing authors and bring a criminal mastermind to justice.
