Prince's play is surprising all the way through and features exciting, strong characters. The Brothers Paranormal is a funny, unique take on a ghost story. What a thrill to see horror in theatre - a rare treat!

A fascinating and effective blend of comedy and deep emotion, The Brothers Paranormal captivates with scary supernatural themes (and dynamite special effects) then flips to powerful themes of family and responsibility. Some cool twists and scary surprises that build on traditional horror tropes as well as cultural traditions. I admired the East West Players production a great deal. Smart, fun and a crowd-pleaser!

Really effective example of horror theater! A moving, scary, funny play about history, identity, and loss.

One of the great aspects of the horror genre is the surprise of the unknown, and this play continually surprises us. The real stakes of the characters nicely balances the fantasy elements, and the genuine emotions they feel brings us in. Nice touches on family history and heritage abound as well. A beautiful piece.

A brilliant ghost story about letting go of the people and places we lose. Can't wait to see this play fully produced.

I had the pleasure of seeing this fantastic and engaging show at the Fonseca Theatre. This show has some twists and turns, that I didn't see coming. Horror has always been a favorite genre of mine, but it is rarely done well. This is not the case with Gomolvilas piece. The production I saw was spectacular, but the story is what lingers in my head. Not only would it be a great piece for the Halloween season, but it's wit, comedy, and dynamic characters make this perfect for any stage and any time. I would love to see this again!

This script is phenomenal! I saw the Penumbra/Mu production and was rapt the whole time. It was legitimately scary at times, funny at others, inspiring and a total gut punch at others. After seeing it, I immediately went looking for the script to read it, wanting to relive the beginning now that I know where it goes. This is an ambitious play and I hope to see it being produced everywhere. I know I'll see it again.
