I directed this play in 2010 and it still hasn't left my mind. George's mastery of language and character is on full display here. Every scene is an inevitable choice-lock for the hapless protagonist, and the ironies pile up until you just can't believe where it has landed him. A fantastic piece for professional and academic theatres both, with four killer characters that actors worth their salt will salivate over. I still assign scenes from this for scene study classes. Check it out.

I directed this play in 2014 and highly recommend it. It's an exciting melodrama with a big twist at the end. Our audiences really enjoyed it and the actors and I had a wonderful time working on the material.
