The characteristics of this play check so many boxes and sets itself beautifully. From the clever build up of relationships to the twist at the end that stabs you, while being surrounded by this post-apocalyptic feel is chefs kiss. Reading this play was a journey everyone should embark on!

Reminded me of an old Twilight Zone episode I saw as a kid with survivors of an unknown war are huddled together in an old building. The writer sticks the ending with a horrible twist fitting for the end times.

The world building in this one act is so intense. This would be a great piece for student directors, designers and performers to tackle. So much to put your own original spin on. And great dramatic roles to perform. I am intrigued and want to hear more about Wormy's tale...
