This is a delightfully dark play that I'd love to see on stage. It's thrilling to experience love, war, honor, and pride distilled through just three characters. While the play is small, the themes resonate in a big way. And who doesn't like unicorns, the ultimate mythical figure?

This witty and surprisingly suspenseful fantasy is full of clever reveals and reversals. The "not who he seems" game has rarely been played with such lyricism and impact.

I love a play that begins and ends in song. I won't give away the ending, but there's a great title! And the language is marvelous! Highly theatrical on a bare stage, just the way I like it!

I love everything Reina writes! Once again she delivers a fun and whip-smart fantasy sure to delight any group of actors and the audience!

Read this play as part of the "Best American Plays 2012-2013" anthology, and its examination of good and evil, optimism and cynicism, in the middle of an awesome man-on-unicorn sword fight marks it worthy of multiple productions. A real winner that makes you think!
