A super complex and darkly funny piece that examines the intersection of coming of age identity formation with contemporary Jewish identity, sexuality, sexual orientation, social expectations and much more. The teenage characters here are rendered with nuanced brushstrokes and I found myself rooting for all of them in their complex, adolescent messiness.

This play reminded me of The Baltimore Waltz (which is one of my very favorite plays) in the way it combined reality and fantasy, sex and gallows humor. The characters say shockingly funny things, but it's never for shock value - it comes from genuine human reaction to being in a shocking place. I know these people, and I enjoyed getting to know them better.

This is one of my favorite plays EVER. I saw a reading of it at the Pasadena Playhouse and completely fell in love with Stephanie's hilarious approach to hard-to-approach topics.

Pitch black comedy that goes some really deep places. It was really great to spend time with these young people as they try and figure out their identities as both a Jewish person and sexual being.

This is a fantastic play. It is funny, layered, and full of great characters. The play centers on Jewish experiences, yet the story is universal.
