A perfect conclusion to Hamlet that I had no clue I needed. Brown has crafted such a moving piece with so much room for laughter. The world building is so strong here. The perfect amount of exposition that grounds us in the world without treating the audience like idiots. This is the ending Ophelia deserved.

As a troubled young woman, I really related to Ophelia. It was a very powerful and healing experience to read this play and hear from the character herself what exactly happened at the end of her life. Not only was this an honest and emotional work, it had moments of levity too! Ophelia and Hamlet's squabbling certainly has its moments where you can't help but laugh at the absurdity. Would love to see this staged one day!

This is the sequel to Hamlet I think I truly needed. Ophelia's plight always troubled me. And this play gives her her say in a very powerful and modern way, without taking away from the source material. It's beautiful and funny and so very full of honest emotions, I am still reeling. Absolutely beautiful. Hamlet's story is a tragedy and he is a hero in HAMLET. But this is Ophelia's story. And it deserves to be bathed in the "white, white light" of truth.

Saw this funny play as a table read on Back Port Theater and enjoyed it so much.

An absolutely fantastic sequel to Hamlet set in modern day that is engaging and resonates so well. Great work!
