I love the impossible scenario Chloe and Woodrow face in Tom Moran's sci-fi/fantasy comedy "WYWH." Audiences will accept that they're communicating across 140+ years, and then they can enjoy Moran's skill, bringing a warm-hearted story about friendship and technology with gentle humor and more than nod to the dangers of changing history. I'd love to see "WYWH" on the stage.

A great concept makes a great play. Really engaging from beginning to end. Would make a compelling full-length piece as well. A lot of fun!

What a play. Well conceived, great characters, quick dialogue. This play has everything including the button at the end. I look forward to getting into more of Tom's work. I would love to see this staged and witness the build in the tension regarding the telegram about President Garfield. Seems like a ton of fun. HRTS - That's Highly Recommend This Show for the older folks.

What a delightful play! Creative premise, sparkling dialogue, timeless theme. The characters feel so real, and would give any creative team plenty to explore, in this richly-detailed comic world. Moran finds wonderful connections between 1881 sepia and contemporary Teenagers. Just lovely!

Anachronism is the name of the game in this charming ten minute play where two lost souls connect in a chat room over a century apart. The use of communication across space and time via telegraph/internet is smart and funny, and you can’t help but root for this odd but delightful cross-century friendship.

I immediately fell in love with this play and its concept on my first read. It's incredibly heart-warming and delightful, and feels like a classical piece in the digital age. Reminds me of the relevance nowadays with the technological miscommunications between kids and their parents.

Tom Moran is just the best. In this 10 minute play, a girl from 2014 meets a guy from 1881 in a chat room and it is terrific. So funny and whimsical and it makes James Garfield seem like a pretty consequential guy to boot. I love it!

What an incredibly funny short play! I don't think I ever could've imagined putting together internet and telegraph together but Tom did and it's hilarious. There's so much humor here in the "miscommunication" between two worlds of technology. What a delightful play!

Sweetest time traveling tale ever. I want all of this to be true. i want it onstage. I want to smile at the perfect ending. I want to time travel. Such a human response to our deepest wishes.

LCA!!! This adorable, heart-warming play is so creative! I want it to be real IRL! It makes my inner romantic step forward in a big way - and I did not know I had one of those! Read it and realize, the past has so much to learn from us!
