This arresting piece pulls you in and cages you — It's gripping and resonant, a terrific piece of sci fi that would be so incredible onstage. Ford's powerful language choices are matched by a unifying sense of dread, and some of the most vivid stage directions I've read. This is right where this genre needs to be — Looking forward to reading more work by this writer!

AFTERLIFE is a sparse yet explosive short play that had me wanting so much more. Such a specific and expansive world is created so expertly and quickly, and Ford doesn't hold back on the spooky factor either.

OOooooomyGOODNESS! What a haunting piece piece of stage sci-fi! This unique virus-shaken world that Jordan has built comes together in a matter of moments and it is absolutely brilliant. A meaty play that will keep you guessing until the very end.

I saw a reading of this play at KCACTF region 6. It's A dark and broody sci-fi piece that leaves you feeling haunted and gets you sitting on the edge of your seat! Ford's ability to create stage image and to speak through picture is chilling.
