This play is emotionally and psychologically astute and the characters have the heft and depth fit for the stage. Provocative, primal and modern, it challenges ideas of conditional and unconditional love, how the former can be disguised as the latter, familial and romantic bonds, and just what people will destroy to protect themselves. It's also a fantastic actor's piece written with real guile and thought. The humour's sharp and the ending knocked me out. I love this play.
