There is a palpable yearning present in Accuardi's characters and dialogue that lingers long after the last line. The dynamic of the younger cast of characters feels very real through their interactions and is supported by the girls' differing grasps on social media and dating, in general. The adult characters are painfully accurate in their own right through what they leave unsaid and discover throughout the play. Accuardi tactfully leaves breadcrumbs in the form of physical cues and pauses, culminating in a final scene that I was not expecting. "<3" is a poignant, cautionary tale about innocence, adulthood, and relationships.

Jaw-dropping when the two stories collide. A worthy read and accurate portrayal of two age groups - each character is a real person in their own right.

Alongside a compelling story, with several threads that get weaved together in the most intriguing yet inevitable way, "< 3" has an incredible sense of pace that kept me constantly engaged. The young characters feel authentically young even as they are trying to grow up faster than they should have to. I would love to see this play performed.

I was quickly engrossed in this intimate piece that explores large themes of adolescence, peer pressure, failed/failing relationships, and broken expectations. I particularly loved how, throughout the first several scenes, it was unclear what the relationship was between the two main narrative strands. Ellie and Tracy's dynamic was rendered in a pitch-perfect manner. David and Alice's relationship illuminated the particular sadness and disconnection of a young couple tied together by increasingly tenuous threads. The whole piece is conducted with a quietness and subtlety that is theatrical, tender, and microscopically focused. A poignant cross-section of people is presented here.

My friends and I read this play and we couldn't stop turning the pages! Such high stakes! The plot was super intriguing, and left us wanting to know more!

"<3" shows the implications of internet usage, especially for younger people. It has a stunning sense of realism which made me feel connected to each character. Such a great read, I highly recommend it!

<3 had a way of making these characters so believable and also told a story that also felt very real. That's the scary part is that this story could be a possibility. Accuardi captures realism in this play and makes it so interesting, which all combines to make it one of the more incredible plays that I've read.

<3 is a play that you won't want to take your eyes away from. While reading, I was captivated the entire time! It dives head first into the complicated relationship between media and our younger generation. The play and it's characters are raw, real, and full of secrets.

This plays intensity is relentless. I love the way the story parallels and keeps you stressing to a degree where once you've discovered what you thought was the truth, it's not even satisfying. You genuinely feel for certain characters in this read, causing you to become all the more attached to it.
