'Twas The Christmas Eve 9:02 To Soulmateville

Two unattached passengers, one a bit bedraggled and the other doggedly hopeful, meet unexpectedly on a train on Christmas Eve. The dreary Porter signals the upcoming stops while parceling out advice along the sometimes treacherous, sometimes joyful route to true love...maybe....

I have read the doggedly optimistic part twice in locally staged readings with Donna. It reads well, but performs beautifully. Both times the audience cheered. No Christmas event with short plays is complete without this show. We were the last show in a night of short holiday plays and both times it was the perfect end to a night of holiday cheer.

Will love find it's way on this Christmas train? Despite the heartbreak perhaps there's hope! Well done.

What a wonderful premise Stuccio has discovered, and explored with humor and heart. I could almost feel myself on that train! A great ten minute play - for Xmas or anytime of the year.
