Marnie and Penelope's love is electrifying. The only way they know how to express it and their relationship to the world around them is through poetic analogies, and a testament to their love is that they both immediately understand what the other means. MARNIE AND PENELOPE OF LOWER BLIGHTTOWNSHIP is beautiful, magical, and heartaching and can be best summarized by Gijsbers van Wijk’s note up top: “These two are insistently truthful to one another.” What more can you ask for?
