This 10 minute play has all of the movement of a much longer play. I have been cast into their world so vividly and intensely through the sparse dialogue capturing a history of each character's jaded past. Their interior fears are juxtaposed against the facade of the circus spectacles. It seems the play is looking for redemption for these two characters; a noble journey for any audience to witness.

This play is just lovely. The rhythm of the language — A lilting, inviting cadence — belies the tension and story development writer Farr packs into just ten pages. Atmospheric, historical, yet relevant and connected to the present — I care so deeply for this little trio I only just met.
