I had the privilege of acting in this play and we had raves from our audiences. This play is so fun and really family friendly. A good example of how crazy relationships can still teach us something and turn out alright in the end.

A sweet, charming romp that succeeds on the basis of witty character humor underlying a richly realized conceit. The human story is compelling, but it's the dynamic between the two dogs that really pushes "All Bark, No Bite" over the top: Eugene's aloof intellectualism is consistently hilarious (and reminds me more than a little of my own dog) while Bella perfectly encapsulates the flighty charm of the younger canine set. My only disappointment is in knowing what the schtick is before reading, and thus not getting the chance to figure out Eugene's identity for myself.

When a Zoom meeting is hosted by someone in Nashville, and the author's outside of Boston and you've got cast members in Seoul and points between - You're hosting a virtual reading in the face of Covid-19! And this delightful play delivers laughs and love - endearing humans aplenty - and DOGS. Talking dogs. Clever, creative, cute-as-a-button DOGS. I am 15/15 here for this play, and so grateful for the distraction. An entertaining romp, animated with effervescence. Pure fun.

A rom com between humans, between dogs, between humans and dogs - so much bark and tail wagging, I smiled and laughed and fell in love. In love with the humans and those irrepressible dogs. Please stage this nearby so I can bring dog biscuits and have the time of my life.

A delightfully fresh rom-com with unexpected belly laughs, natural and snappy dialogue, and just enough sweetness to generate genuine emotion.

We read this as a group via google hangouts. My face hurts from laughing. Krantz has captured dogs and their owners perfectly. Peppered with true heart and characters that are fun to watch and root for.

All Bark, No Bite is full of laughs as well as plenty of moments that will make any pet owner say "aww"! I enjoyed reading it all the way through and would love to see it performed someday!

"'All Bark, No Bite' is a sui generis bolt out of the blue, a romantic comedy about relationships that upends the tired conventions of that well-tread genre with an inspired twist that will become evident some 20 minutes into the play, with a deft visual clue here, a bit of dialogue there. The result is a modern day screwball comedy with a generous heart at its center. It’s the equivalent of a collaborative hybrid between Preston Sturges and Frank Capra." - Paul Kolas 4 out of 4 stars.

Pure pleasure and delight and sheer JOY jumping off the page, Krantz has created a seriously sweet and heartfelt little play. There is SO MUCH room for physical humor in this piece and the hilarious characters of Eugene and Bella jump off of the page. This would be an absolute audience favorite and would be sure to sell plenty of tickets. There are lots of misunderstandings, lots of bratty dog antics, and plenty of ridiculousness from all characters involved, but the sweet, earnest heart of it is what makes this play really special. Well done, Krantz!

Krantz warmly borrows the SYLVIA concept from A.R. Gurney, embraces it wholeheartedly and more than makes it her own, as fussy pet Eugene reacts to sudden upheaval in his owner Charlotte's life: Meeting steady boyfriend Robert's dog Bella for the first time. (From the get-go, we learn there's more upheaval than even Eugene suspects.) It's obvious Krantz takes sheer joy in her story; that degree of warmth and affection for her characters is infectious. This is destined to be a crowd pleaser. And, as good as the roles for performers are, a special shout-out for showstealing Alfred, the plant.
