  • Lindsey Brown: Renegade Elfs' Christmas Workshop

The Elves do so much of the work at Christmas, it's about time they got to shine. In this scene we are cleverly given a peek behind the 'magic curtain of Christmas' and shown egos, good intentions, failed ventures, but most importantly, the ability to learn from our mistakes. Santa isn't perfect, and the Elves too are flawed, but together, when they finally listen to each other, it was heartwarming to see that they, and in turn Christmas, can be even better.

  • David Taylor Little: Renegade Elfs' Christmas Workshop

This is a nice little play and would be a great addition to a holiday evening of short plays. It's funny, but also touches on some important issues related to workers rights. The characters are well drawn as well, and you get a great sense of how much they mean to one another. A fun, and unexpected, Christmas play that would be a wonderful inclusion in any evening.

North Pole labor disputes make for a funny, biting little holiday comedy. A workplace drama made humorous with the use of jolly ol’ Saint Nick as narrator. A fun premise with impish characters and an unusual Christmas offering. Ho ho ho!

Labor versus Management: A Christmas Story. There's a lot of sparkly tinsel to go around as Santa "with the round ears" has to deal with "little pointy-eared traitors" when his elves decide to open their own workshop. What goes around comes around and in the process there are words of wisdom intertwined with holiday silliness. It's Christmas candy and fair labor practice all tied up in a pretty bow.
