This play was recommended to me by a friend whose ridiculously talented daughter is working on a scene from it in her second year at Juilliard. It is a beautiful little play that asks the question: Are there things a strong, happy relationship can't come back from? The characters are expertly drawn and the exchange is laced with heartbreaking subtext, but the real win here is Lane's mastery of the rhythms of conversation between two people who already know what the other one will say. Brava!
