A play about just one of these fierce women would be a party, it's a joy to encounter all of them at once! This is a play where Marlene needs the support and wisdom of the ancestors, and we're along for both the fun of that and the complicated answers they bring to the table. I also encourage educators to take a look at this play---great roles!

I was so upset I missed this play when it premiered in Philly but I have a feeling it will be produced more and all over. I beautiful play with complicated and rich roles for Latinx women. It's a great way for audiences to learn about the women who blazed the trails for women today and those that are still fighting for equality. Will make you laugh, cry and leave inspired to take down the patriarchy!!!

You gotta love women who keep shot glasses and tequila under their skirts! From the heart-wrenching premise in the first scene with two wonderful characters, to the party full of famous Latinas, the play is a theatrical feast.
