Our theatre was fortunate enough to put on a fully staged production of this play. I fell in love with this witty, insightful script on first read. I'd recommend it to any theatre looking for newer works to produce. The audiences LOVED it and the actors had a wonderful time! Normally when my theatre puts on new shows, we lose money. And we were prepared to do so again. But guess what? We didn't! This show is so easy to market; it's so relatable and has universal themes that are addressed in unique ways. You won't regret choosing this one!

This is such a fantastic, sharp, and often hilarious script. Inspired by ancient myth but very much in today's world, Mrinalini examines the human need to find love with a sharp eye and critical view of our modern ways of connecting.

LET THERE BE LOVE is an incredibly smart, funny, subversive look at romance and relationships--not just between lovers but between friends, parents, children, and consumers. It's full of deliciously wrought allusions to myth and literature, but the story works so well on its own that these references serve to make the play feel even more timeless.

LET THERE BE LOVE is a heartfelt, funny, intelligent script featuring three-dimensional characters, all of whom you end up caring about. DeeDee is fantastic, and would surely be a joy for any actor to play (think Patti Stanger from *Millionaire Matchmaker,* only better). The genuine laughs in the play separate this piece from most that try to comment on the matchmaking scene. Where they tend to look down on the profession, this play never does that. It never loses sight of the fact that we're talking about real, raw, human emotion. Bravo, Mrinalini!

“Let There Be Love” toys with the traditional staples of romcom tropes before sharply upending them and becoming its own story. The characters' nuanced dynamics could become unwieldy or confusing in another's hands, but playwright Kamath makes deft work in keeping the relationships free from clutter. Heartwarming, enlightening, and thought-provoking, “Let There Be Love” is an incisive parable on modern dating with a bit of something for everyone.

Let There Be Love is a fun, clever look at love in all its forms: from familial, romantic and the stuff in between. A thoughtful twist on the romantic comedy genre, the play challenges and educates its audience while leaving them thoroughly entertained. Who knew how algorithms really work anyway? As Curator of The PlayGround Experiment, seeing this work develop has been a joy and I look forward to its long life on stages around the country.
