The Folks at Home

Their mortgage is late, Roger's been laid off for months, and there might be a ghost in the attic. It's a lot. When Brandon's mom and Roger's parents fall on even harder financial times and are forced to move in with the struggling couple, the blended family must figure out how to share space and how to survive. The Folks at Home is a sharp and heartfelt comedy in the style of Norman Lear's classic sitcoms of the 70s and 80s.

I LOVE this play. The characters are both over the top and very real -- I was invested in them and their lives as if they were my next door neighbors. I think I annoyed the people seated near me in the theater because I laughed SO much. Love it.

A sure to be classic comedy about the "American Dream" and what it means to be family.

In the midst of struggle, a family must share space and survive in a relatable comedy that lands home. Well done.
