Humor and heartache abounds in this touching family drama. A true gem - the kind of play I want to hide away in my pocket and return to on the bad days.

A truthful and heartwrenching story about what loss and grief really look like. There won't be a dry eye in the house when this play ends.

This is a beautifully written wonderfully rich play! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. The characters are human and flawed, and yet there is real active searching not only for redemption but also forgiveness - not often seen, and not easy to do, and Leah Nanako Winkler gets it done!

  • Brian James Polak: God Said This

One of the best plays of 2018. I felt so emotionally invested in this family, it was as if I was part of it. The play had me vicariously investigating the challenges of my family as I watched these characters navigate their complications all while one of them was stranded in a hospital bed. This play is hilarious, and sad, and wonderful. I think it's a masterpiece and want to see it again.
