Bavoso is such a clever, confident, and witty writer, and "The Morning After the Fall" showcases these qualities to great effect. I had the privilege of producing the piece for Whiskey Theatre Factory's 2021 reading, which was a huge success and elicited both big laughs and knowing sighs from the audience during its bittersweet beats. I would highly recommend this piece for any short play festival.

I'm so glad John Bavoso was covered by Unknown Playwrights. He has got a sharp, snappy sense of humor and is able to deliver some fantastic lines. I was crying - there are so many amazing one-liners in just 8 pages. And even though it's a comedy, there is such a big commentary on so many other things, including religion and relationships. This is a writer everyone needs to know.

Such a clever play! Bavoso puts a spin on the classic story that is fresh, original, and just downright funny. There were several lines that had me laughing out loud. This play also has a ton of heart. Would be a great addition to any short play festival.

What a delightful play about the fall of man. I enjoyed the banter between Adam and Steve and I know Steve’s new garden is one I’d be more than happy to be a part of if I could.

A very funny take on what REALLY went down in Eden. Bavoso takes very familiar elements and tropes, mixes 'em up and voila! A new, entertaining theater piece is born. Recommended!
