A very funny piece that only escalates in laughable moments as you go through. In addition to the physical action there is also a lovely opposition between the two characters which creates the wonderful back and forth between them. A lovely piece to read (I could see someone like Maggie Smith playing Miss Leclair!)

This short two-hander packs a punch! We are rooting for "Lady Addington"the elder all the way! Fabulous set up and delivery of a great storyline that rings true both in theatre and in life! Love it!

It's rare for a play with so much to say (about aging, experience, generational conflict, and even the transient nature of the theatre) to be such a hilarious, satisfying crowd-pleaser at the same time. This is a true gem that works on so many levels. I had the pleasure of seeing it with an insanely brilliant mother-daughter team in the roles, and it was one of my favorite theatre experiences in recent memory. HIGHLY recommended!!!

There will always be a battle between the aged and the youth, between the wise and the new. McBurnette-Andronicos gives us a prime example that just because a play has a cynical character, doesn't mean that the play itself is cynical. Her work here in 'End of an Era' is about disappointment. How does one bequeath a task, life-long, even obsessed? Modern simplicity is pitted against archaic perfection, and the results are both hilarious and disastrous. Times change and there's always an opinion if it's for the better or for the worse. A dark comedy with a most curious ending.

A classic story of a wise veteran and the upstart youngster who needs to be taught a lesson. A shortie with a satisfying conclusion.
