A play that feels like a piece of pure poetry while also being really messy and gritty. The dialogue here sings and characters saying them are entrancing. This play feels like it could be set in a post-apocalyptic world but could also be happening right here and now. Yearning and fear of abandonment will never be irrelevant issues for the human race. I loved the body horror elements in this play. I can't wait to see what stage magicians will try to make the gross moments happen. This is a short play that packs a real punch.

Lyric and hypnotizing. INOSCULATION deconstructs trauma in devastating repetition, as neither half of the whole is able to move past whatever occurred at this bar. Siena Marilyn Ledger creates a world that I crave to know so much more about, but one where I fear most of the answers. Through this and the juxtaposition of violence and tenderness, she’s created an inside view of how we become blocked in the healing process. Totally mesmerizing and haunting.
