  • Jackson Castello: To Be An Invincible Woman

"To Be An Invincible Woman" is one of the best historical plays I've ever encountered. One of the greatest aviators of all time paired with one of the most influential first ladies? What a brilliant idea! I love plays that are able to show you what's underneath the history book representation of a person, and this play delved to a deep, human place in such a short time! Wonderful work! I'm sure both of these women would be honored to see themselves thus represented.

  • Erin Malone Turner: To Be An Invincible Woman

This play was a beautifully heartbreaking and insightful look into two remarkable women in a space that allowed them to reconnect and uncover truths and vulnerabilities that life on earth didn't quite allow. Both characters felt organic and connected in their questions, regrets, and hope. An excellent short play!

  • Cheryl Bear: To Be An Invincible Woman

A powerful piece on what it takes to be an invincible woman with two great figures as examples. A lesson in pressure to perform and meet the expectations of others. No one is invincible, everyone feels fear and we're all human. Live in gratitude for the moments we have to contribute and enjoy life!

  • Jordan Kilgore: To Be An Invincible Woman

Smith has a tactful and exciting way of bringing fresh humanity to two prolific historical figures. Her imagery is lovely, the relationship between the two women is endearing and heart-wrenching, and overall the script takes you on as many highs and lows as Amelia Earhart's airplane. A sincere, well-researched gem of a ten-minute play!

  • Rachel Bublitz: To Be An Invincible Woman

A charming play that looks at a conversation two giants might have had. In TO BE AN INVINCIBLE WOMAN Smith allows both Eleanor Rosevelt and Amelia Earhart to be deeper than the simple versions we get from history books. She goes examines into their hopes and fears and the things that made their hearts race. A lovely ten-minute play.
