Loved how this play creates it's own language. Language that was absurd at times but felt so honest for the excellently written character speaking them. A play about how people come into and leave our lives. A play filled with great monologues for anyone looking.

This is a story about America and about youth in America--queer youth, nonbinary youth, young men of color--grappling with the legacy of the country and the fact that co-existing with the heartless heartland is a survival mechanism. Elevated language, unique voices, plethora of perspectives--what more could you want?

This play has puts a really great modern lens on the evolution of friendships in a universal way, esp. in regards to the struggles of breaking out of a codependent friendship. It has a great sense of theatricality, solid moments of comedy, and great monologues for almost every cast member.
